MUS Receives $20 Mill. Grant from NSF EPSCoR

Governor Brian Schweitzer announced today that the Montana University System has received a $20 million, five-year grant from the NSF to strengthen the state’s science and engineering workforce with a program that will reach into campuses and communities across Montana.

FLBS Launches Research Buoys

As part of the EPSCoR-supported VOEIS project the Flathead Lake Biological Station has launched two new buoys into Flathead Lake as data gatering platforms to conduct water monitoring research.

3-D River System Technology = New Montana Jobs

Professor Mark Lorang (NSF EPSCoR VOEIS Senior Researcher) has developed new software that uses data collected from an Acoustic Doppler Velocity Profiler (ADP) to create three-dimensional pictures of river systems.
